About the project
To broadcast the 750 hours of live content of this macro sporting event, GRUP MEDIAPRO BMS sent 500 professionals to Krakow who operated 15 HD mobile units and 85 cameras, including nine aquatic cameras, 45 ultra-slow cameras, and 14 drones. The most important deployment took place in the Silesia stadium, where the athletics ldisciplines were held and in which there was a deployment of 90 professionals and 40 cameras.
The Organizing Committee of this Games awarded GRUP MEDIAPRO and its partner the production of this international sporting event after receiving several offers. The organizers valued the experience of the group, which organizes more than 15,000 live events annually, and which will be the first audiovisual company to be in charge of acting as a broadcaster at the European Games and the Pan American and Parapan American Games in the same year.
GRUP MEDIAPRO, leader in the audiovisual sector, was also responsible for setting up, fitting out, and managing the International Broadcast Center (IBC); a 1,200 m2 facility, located at the National Television (TVP) in Krakow, which functioned as a press room for the 3,000 journalists who cover this international sporting event and where the signals that were distributed to 50 channels in Europe, America and Asia were received and managed. There was also a parallel production of two 26-minute daily highlights of the day and a free 5-minute clip.
