About the service

Essential technologies in today’s broadcasting that ensure fast and reliable live coverage in any location

The way news is broadcast has changed dramatically over the past few decades, largely due to advances in technologies like DSNG, News Backpacks, and Flyaways. These innovations prioritize simplicity while delivering real-time, high-quality reporting from virtually any location, even the most remote or challenging environments.

At MEDIAPRO BMS, we make this possible by helping our clients to meet their unique needs through creative technical solutions that ensure exceptional results. Whether you’re broadcasting from the heart of a war zone, covering natural disasters, or capturing live events, our fleet of DSNG units, News Backpacks, and Flyaways enables you to broadcast from anywhere in the world, no matter how inaccessible.

Whether it’s a fully equipped DSNG truck delivering live broadcasts from remote locations via satellite—especially in areas with unreliable or unavailable cellular or broadband connections—the quick setup and mobility of a News Backpack for urban environments or breaking news, or the agility of a Fly Away for rapid deployment in remote areas where DSNG trucks can’t reach, our solutions are designed to meet every broadcasting challenge with efficiency and precision, even when there is no network connection possible, we find the solution.

What we can do for you

Hybrid Transmission Solutions: Enhanced Portability and Cost Efficiency

DSNG

DSNG vehicles are equipped with satellite dishes, encoders, and transmission systems that enable real-time video and audio feeds from virtually any location. These units remain essential for covering remote or live events, whether point-to-point (outdoor/indoor) or via multiport distribution, ensuring reliable transmission in even the most challenging locations.

They are widely used in breaking news, sports events, and large-scale outdoor events to ensure immediate and reliable live transmission. At MEDIAPRO BMS our DSNG fleet consists of 56 fully equipped vehicles distributed through Europe and South America.

Fly aways

Flyaways are portable satellite systems that can be rapidly deployed in remote locations. They consist of lightweight, modular satellite transmission systems packed into transportable cases. At MEDIAPRO BMS, we offer 10 fully equipped Fly Away units (C or KU bands), ready to meet your broadcasting needs in any location, no matter how remote or challenging.

Flyaways are used in situations where a DSNG truck is not feasible, such as in hard-to-reach or disaster-stricken areas. They are highly flexible and can be assembled quickly to establish a live broadcast.

News backpacks

News backpacks, also known as cellular bonding devices, are portable kits that allow reporters to broadcast live from the field. They rely on multiple cellular network connections to transmit video data.

These packs are more flexible and mobile compared to DSNG trucks and are often used at sites where connectivity is lacking or in breaking news. Where there is no network possibility, we provide solutions. With our nearly 250 News backpack, we enable real-time reporting from virtually anywhere with minimal setup. We work with the world’s most renowned brands, including Live-U, TVU, Dejero, and Hivision.
