The most suitable technical solutions for every type of audiovisual production
Standard PCRs represent the most straightforward production setup. They comprise traditional control rooms designed for standard or high-definition broadcasts, as well as 4K PCRs equipped with the latest technology to facilitate ultra-high-definition production. Typically, these setups involve fixed studio configurations where HD or 4K equipment—such as monitors, switchers, and graphics processors—are seamlessly integrated.
These setups facilitate centralized control of events taking place in remote locations, whether they are permanent or temporary. They are particularly well-suited for sports, news coverage, or events where minimizing crew and equipment travel is essential. Utilizing IP technology, these systems transmit feeds to the main PCR, enabling remote control of on-site cameras and microphones.
We also leverage Cloud infrastructure, enabling production control from virtually anywhere with a reliable internet connection. This solution is ideal for flexible and scalable workflows and typically incorporates Cloud-based tools for graphics, audio mixing, and live video switching. It’s particularly beneficial for remote collaboration or hybrid workflows, where some elements are managed locally while others are controlled remotely.
Mobile PCR setups, also known as “flypacks,” are compact cases designed for on-site assembly in temporary or remote productions. These setups are ideal for live events, outdoor broadcasts, or locations lacking a permanent PCR. For example, in MEDIAPRO BMS we recently deployed a flypack setup at the 2014 America’s Cup in Barcelona. We can also configure these systems to support HD, 4K, or other resolutions, depending on the project’s specific requirements.
